Before we get into this, let’s get one thing straight. I know how the internet can be. I work on it all day.
EVERYthing (just about) is over-hyped and full of nonsense.
Well allow me to introduce to you the least-hyped, worst “marketing-guru” online… me.
I’ve created this website for one reason: to help you get fit and stay fit.
Now, I’m sorry but I don’t have “one weird trick” or any magic pills to shove down your throat. Just good-ole nutrition and training.
My training and coaching is based on science but not blinded by science.
Let’s look at low carb diets as an example.
There have been scientific studies that have proven that low carb diets work to help individuals lose weight. I’ve done low carb diets before.
I’ve even had great results following them…
But guess what. They’re not fun.
They’re not something that I can maintain. Most people can’t. So I don’t recommend them.
Whatever you do to get fit (lose weight, gain muscle, etc.) is what you should plan on doing to maintain that fitness.
So does Paleo work? Sure.
Do I want to eat Paleo for the rest of my life? Nope. I like some aspects of Paleo so I incorporate those, but a strict Paleo-eater am I? Not even close.
And what about workout programs?
I certainly don’t follow those “insane” workouts because they are, in fact, insane.
One of the biggest problems is going to an extreme.
Consistency is what wins.
The best approach is to find what works without straying too far from one’s “normal” way of life.
